As America approaches its 250th anniversary, Civics 250 is inviting a select group of middle and high schools to join our Early Launch Program for the 2026–2027 school year. Early Launch Schools will be the first in the country to implement this groundbreaking civics curriculum — and will help shape its future.

Eligibility
Public, charter, and private schools
All school types are welcome to apply. We are committed to serving a diverse range of schools across the country.
Grades 6–12
Schools serving any combination of middle and high school grades are eligible. Individual teachers can also apply.
All 50 states
We are accepting applications from schools in all 50 states. Geographic diversity is a priority for our Early Launch cohort.
No prior civics expertise required
Teachers do not need prior civics or government teaching experience. Our professional development is designed for all backgrounds.
